This guide provides details on how to add a Vivotek FE8181 Fisheye camera to VIPER H265 NVR 


{Use Same Method/Principal for other Vivotek Cameras}


Note.

Connect the camera to a POE switch, This needs to be connected to a separate PC so the Camera can be

initially set up Via the Camera Web Interface.


Use Vivotek Discovery Tool to find Cameras IP Address "Default is set to DHCP"  [Shepard]


Login in to cameras Web Interface from separate PC as above. 


Select Configuration > Network > General settings 

Set camera to Static IP Address  ( VIPER Default Address for IP Cam/POE is 192.168.30.xxx)


In the below example we have set to 192.168.30.110 


Check Camera Time & Date are correctly set up


Once a static address has been set.

Connect camera to spare POE port on VIPER ( connected the camera to POE port 10)


Go to Camera Registration and manually add the camera using the static IP Address that was set on 

Camera Web Interface.




Once Camera is connected and displaying Video 

Go to Menu set up > Camera Registration > Advanced 



Select Setup the enable "Fisheye Filter"



Once this is done double click the camera so the camera is full screen, Then right click and the fisheye filter option 

will be available.
